Rules for Sim Rally Masters 2025/2026
>>> changes from last season will be marked in bold letters and underlined <<<
1. Basic rules for interaction and the SRM Discord server
- Respect each other.
- Post in the appropriate channels.
- No NSFW content.
- Don’t DM the Organisers if you have questions regarding the championship. Post them in #general-discussion and we will see it.
2. Information regarding the rallies
- Sim Rally Masters (SRM) is a Richard Burns Rally (RBR) championship organized via the RallySimFans (RSF) plugin with the latest version of NGP Physics, meaning that all drivers who have an account on RSF can enter the championship.
- Pacenotes will use the “only pacenote audio” option.
- Damage will use the "realistic" option.
- Super Rally rule is turned on.
- The calendar can be found here.
- The championship will consist of six endurance rallies.
- Each rally will be open for 7 full days and the last leg needs to be started before the rally closes.
- A list containing all the stages used in a rally will be released at least two weeks before the start of each rally; in practice mode you can do whatever you want.
- You are not allowed to set up and/or enter rallies that completely or partially copy the roadbook. This behaviour is considered unsportsmanlike. Competitors participating in those rallies will receive a warning on the first infraction and will be disqualified on the second infraction.
3. Replay checking
- The organisers can ask for replays to check for possible cheating (explained in the points below). Please use the RSF Discord so the organiser can contact you easily. (send replays using the Google form provided).
- Generally we rely on the built in penalty system to govern what is considered a cut or not.
- Wall-riding is considered cheating.
- If a competitor is caught cheating, the competitor may receive a penalty. The severity of the penalty will depend on the severity of the cheat and if the competitor has had any previous infractions.
- Replays must be sent within 72 hours after the original request of the organiser was sent.
- If said replay file was not sent within 72 hours, the competitor will receive a 3 minute penalty and another 24 hours to send the replay. If the organiser still hasn’t received the requested replay files after this time period, the competitor will be disqualified.

6. Driver's Championship
- The driver's championship will entirely be processed on the rallysimfans.hu website here.
- All drivers that have one or more Super Rally stages will be moved down on the overall standings behind the last driver with no Super Rally stages.
7. Team’s Championship
- Team points are different to driver's points: the first 100 drivers can score team points, and drivers that are not in a team but in the top 100 will then just block the points for other drivers.
- The fastest driver gets 100 points, the 100th driver will score 1 point:
- 1st - 100
- 2nd - 99
- 3rd - 98
- ...
- 98th - 3
- 99th - 2
- 100th - 1
- Teams can consist of a maximum of four drivers, of which only the two best will automatically score per rally. Drivers cannot be changed after they have been announced on the Discord. The third and fourth drivers will not score for the team but will block the position for opponents.
- Every driver gets an additional point for every finished stage:
- For example, a driver finished 43rd overall and finished 28 out of 34 stages of the rally
58 (43rd) + 28 (stages finished) = 86 points in total - Drivers with Super Rally stages will be moved behind the last driver with no Super Rally stages.
- There are no restrictions on the car or class choice for the teams.
- All cars are eligible to score team points.
- The team championship will be organised on the SRM discord.
- For reasons of fair sportsmanship, we cannot allow a team to be nominated for a round in progress if any of its drivers has already started the first leg.
8. Power-stage Trophy
- Will not be featured anymore.
9. Further Information
- The points system is subject to change till the first rally has been officially started.
- Any cars, that might get added throughout the season and fall into one of the preassigned classes offered by the plugin, will be added to the ongoing championship as well.
