Sanremo postponed

Hello!

As those of you on our Discord server will have undoubtedly noticed, we have decided to postpone Sanremo Rally until further notice.

While lore-friendly explanations involving pineapples are all fun and dandy, the real reason is something further outside our control.

Since the latest RSF update, a severe bug was discovered. Known as "timing bug", it alters the speed in which the simulation runs vs. actual clock. While RSF team is working on an update, the timetable is up in the air. Rest assured, the entire team is doing their best to resolve the situation as soon as possible.

In the meantime, we had no real alternative but to delay the event. We know a lot of you have looked forward to the rally, and some of you have planned your intensive real-life schedules in order to participate in this event. For that we can only apologise. However, the nature of the bug is one which severely affects anyone who happens to fall victim to it, and while the possibility of a technical failure is part of our sport - indeed, much like mechanical ones in real life - we cannot with good conscience let the event go forward in such unfair circumstances.

We also strongly encourage everyone to join our Discord server. Not only do we post more frequent updates there, but it also allows you an opportunity to socialise with your fellow drivers and connect with the series in a manner not possible via this blog.

Thank you for your patience and see you at Sanremo!
